Our Passion Projects
WAAC exists to further and provide opportunities for artists to continue creating and selling their work to patrons within our Wisconsin communities. We are currently focused on expanding support for artists in the following areas:
The National Assembly of State Arts Agencies says the State of Wisconsin spends about 18 cents per capita on arts funding.
The State of Wisconsin is often ranked last when it comes to prioritizing the development of creativity and the arts in our communities and schools.
For the last 46 years, the Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople, Inc. (WAAC) has existed to create and further opportunities for artists within the state to share, sell, and connect with collectors through art fairs and exhibitions. We believe that the arts are a fundamental part of our community’s growth and individual expression. Our mission as a non-profit has always been and will continue to be about enriching our state through the support of our local artists.
There are many ways to support the Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople, Inc. Support can include monetary or in-kind donations, WAAC Membership, Sponsorship opportunities, and/or volunteer work. Your generous support is always appreciated and may provide you with charitable tax benefits.
